Thank you for stopping by! Monarchy is the result of a deep passion for crafting timeless pieces that capture the inherent beauty of a meticulously crafted item.
Each piece that leaves our shop is a testament to our commitment to individual care and attention. From the initial crafting process, to the finishing, to the final inspection, we ensure that every item is created with precision and dedication before it begins its journey to your home.
We believe that common materials, when crafted with the care and precision that years of woodworking experience demand, can yield results just as spectacular, if not more so, than those achieved with higher-end and costly materials. We use High Quality Furniture Grade Plywood for our stained items, along with Solid Hardwoods, and use MDF, when appropriate, for some of our paint grade items. Being environmentally conscious is important to us; fine hardwoods are finite resources, and their overuse is something to take into consideration. White Oak and Walnut are very popular and beautiful hardwoods, and becoming increasingly more rare and costly. If we can utilize a High Quality Furniture Grade Plywood in instances where strength and rigidity concerns allow, we have avoided wasting material and and ultimately save you, the end user, money.
Furniture and cabinetry will always include solid hardwoods, as will anything we make that needs to support significant weight. Floating shelves are a great example of when plywood is worth its weight in gold.
As a Husband and Wife team, we have built a local reputation for quality and now it's our goal to expand our reach, and have the results of our labor be present in your home, your business, and your office.
